Hi Brian, I wanted to connect with you and see if in your journeys to St. Simons whether you have heard of Alfonzo’s Old Plantation Supper Club. It was an island legend and very much beloved until some years ago when Alfonzo was shot and held up by theives on New Years Eve. You should check it out before it’s demolished. It really was an amazing place and time for those of us that went there and loved it. Talk about your vanishing coastal Georgia, this is really it……….so sad so sad. As the old families sell out to the developers, the one thing they forget to consider is where will they go? What will be lost that is never coming back unless they hold on? Nothing will ever be as good as what they had. Laurie
