That’s actually the mouth of Snake Creek that runs from the Sapelo River to the Crescent River …. between Creighton Island and the mainland.
Ok, now I’m confused. I know all the maps and signs aren’t right, but the bridge sign says Sapelo River and the maps say Blackbeard Creek.

This is a song by Mcintosh County native Vic Waters. Sapelo River is the name. He has done others about the area that are really good. https://youtu.be/fGeUk9RhSXc
